Battlefield Care Central - Kandahar

The tactical fight of a battlefield soldier begins when he engages the enemy. The duties of multi-national medical personnel at Kandahar Airfield hospital in southern Afghanistan, start when battlefield casualties hit the flight-line via medevac helicopter.  The 19-bed critical-care unit offers support equivalent to a small city hospital in North America or Europe.  The military staff hail from Canada, Holland, the U.S., UK and Australia.
